This is too serious to not comment on further - Coronavirus

Coronavirus is serious.

Seems some need to be made aware of this.

The world is being 'represented' by a buffoon, a man-child, someone that cares not a jot for anyone that isn't him or his family.

He shouldn't be the story of a pandemic that as of just a week ago has taken the lives of over 3,000 people.

A man wears a mask in Guarulhos International Airport, in Guarulhos, Sao Paulo, Brazil

He shouldn't be so I'm not going to make him the story, for once! However, I will just say that it is more than 'sad' that I went to a news organisation for an accurate take on the number of deaths rather than go to the US government's website.

Why? I simply don't trust anything from Trump's administration and with good reason(s) (many, many of them!).

Firstly, I implore anyone that is unsure of what Coronavirus is, to go and check out the W.H.O.'s website (shown below) as it gives a good, no nonsense summary of what it is.

I understand people can be scared by what they see on TV or read in the newspapers but knowledge is power and the knowledge that can be had from the W.H.O. can calm any anxiety on this subject.

Not only does this give a straight forward explanation of Coronavirus it concludes by recommending common sense ways for preventing the spread of infection. These include, washing your hands, covering your mouth and nose when you sneeze and ensuring meat and eggs are thoroughly cooked.

So, rather than sticking our heads in the sand or panicking that this is the apocalypse, given the right information we can take sensible precautions.

There is good news and here it is.

Dr. Bruce Aylward, shown below, led a W.H.O. team to China in February to study the outbreak.

He said, talking of how the authorities in China began to deal with the situation,
As long as you have these discrete outbreaks ... there is the opportunity to control them — to get on top of these and contain them and prevent a lot of disease and ultimately death

Whilst not understating the situation, Dr. Aylward goes on to say in the article that with the willingness to trace and track down all those that have the potential to have been infected or come in to contact with those that are, and carry out testing on those that need it then
you can still slow it down and protect the vulnerable populations and limit the amount of damage that this disease can do
I  think that for most of us the most important thing we can do is stay informed. The majority of us aren't doctors and so clear and correct information and direction will help in stopping the infections and the spread of them.

Some of the sites I would recommend for no nonsense reporting and getting the facts on Coronavirus are the following:

Thank you for reading. I hope this has been useful and perhaps entertaining.

I would really like to have your feedback on the situation and for that matter anything that you would like me to cover.

UK Government Cowardly Representative says "people are 'addicted' to the furlough scheme"

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/may/07/we-need-to-build-on-the-furlough-scheme-not-cut-it-to-avoid-mass-unemployment A Return to the 80's for the UK? This article, rightly, makes the point that forcing people back to work during a pandemic when the status of who's been infected, who hasn't and if there is anyone resistant to Covid-19 is unknown. That's before we understand exactly what a second and third wave of this will be like and do to the wider community. However, the line that really chimed with me was the opening one: "A senior government source warned yesterday that people are “addicted” to the furlough scheme. “We have to get people back to work,” he said. If you are outside the UK and younger than I, to be honest, that's probably 90% of those reading this, you may not be familiar with the modern industrial history and why a stupid, crass and clearly ignorant comment like that from the ruling class would "chime

What does a community do when it can no longer bear to see its members "legally" murdered?

We all have our problems in life, right? When you have an issue in your life, and we all have them from time to time, at the very least, that’s just life, right? An example of what I’m talking about might be, let’s say, your neighbour upstairs plays loud music all hours of the day or night when they’re off work. You’ve been and spoken with them and they just laughed at you each time. What do you do? You take it up with your landlord, the building supervisor or maybe if it has gotten to an extreme point, the police. At least you’ve got some options, right? Another example perhaps could be, you are being harassed by a guy, shouting names at you, embarrassing you as you go to work, come home from work, take your children to school or the park. Perhaps this time you don’t confront them for a lot of “common sense” reasons. So, perhaps this time you go to take advice from a lawyer or maybe go to the police. Well, at least there’s a choice of who to turn to. What about if every time you go ou
