We all have our problems in life, right? When you have an issue in your life, and we all have them from time to time, at the very least, that’s just life, right? An example of what I’m talking about might be, let’s say, your neighbour upstairs plays loud music all hours of the day or night when they’re off work. You’ve been and spoken with them and they just laughed at you each time. What do you do? You take it up with your landlord, the building supervisor or maybe if it has gotten to an extreme point, the police. At least you’ve got some options, right? Another example perhaps could be, you are being harassed by a guy, shouting names at you, embarrassing you as you go to work, come home from work, take your children to school or the park. Perhaps this time you don’t confront them for a lot of “common sense” reasons. So, perhaps this time you go to take advice from a lawyer or maybe go to the police. Hi there, Have you ever been trying to find some information about Left Wing politics that you just couldn't find? ​ Found yourself with a ton of disparate links that have bits and pieces of what you want but not quite what you need? ​ Been trying to get a picture of what group is what school or discipline of left-wing politics but not able to piece it together? ​ Yeah? Me too! ​ This project is an attempt to provide a central repository for the left online no matter the 'school' or 'discipline'. It has been difficult to realise the original vision of what the channel would look like. Originally, the thought was that a 'Daily News' article would go up on YouTube every day, giving an overview of the days news. The channel would also provide a weekly 'Opinion' piece at the weekend. The 'enthusiastic' view of being able to get this done was just that, enthusiastic, but it wasn't realistic. With the channel just starting and having to be organised, the fact that I am just one person, for the moment and all the technicalities of getting pieces up, there just wasn't the time to do all of this. The Coronavirus, COVID-19, has swept across the planet in a matter of weeks. As it is a novel version, no one has immunity to it and there are currently no vaccines. A robust and urgent response is and was required to this. A 'Universal' healthcare response to it, if you will. However, there are countries that have no form of 'nationalised' healthcare system and require their citizens to essentially fend for themselves. Of course, this means there is no joined up, national system to coordinate not just the medical aspect of fighting this virus but also the logist aspect of it. Coronavirus is creating a lot of data. Could this help to establish healthcare as a human right? I appreciate that not everyone is a 'big nerd'. Nor is the planet occupied by 'number junkies'. The World Health Organisation seems to have realised this, and thankfully so. The WHO are doing a good job at getting information and data out to not just the media, but also the public and in simple, straightforward ways. On 21 December 1998, Pan Am flight 103 was on its way from London to New York when it exploded over Lockerbie , Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. This killed 243 passengers and 16 crew and also led to the deaths of a further 1 1 people from the town of Lockerbie as the falling debris rained down. Coronavirus is serious. Seems some need to be made aware of this. The world is being 'represented' by a buffoon, a man-child, someone that cares not a jot for anyone that isn't him or his family. There's no need for anyone to be hyperbolic about coronavirus. Or, for that matter, any public health crisis that potentially, or definitely in this case, affects the world's population. The reason that we know it must be fine, apart from the very reassuring briefing from POTUS from the lectern where we learned, amongst other things: The President was right! This can't be stressed enough. Whatever it is we are talking about, Donald Trump was right. Because of all we've done, the risk to the American people remains very low.
